CoEd Middle School Flag Football

Athletic Background: 

I played high school football (QB, RB, LB), basketball, wrestling, and also ran track (1600 meters). I began coaching as a men's softball league coach for 3 years, then as the Assistant junior high basketball coach at Dobson Academy for 6 years. After that, I was the Head Coach for elementary flag football at Dobson Academy for 3 years. I was also the Elementary Boys basketball coach at Dobson Academy for 4 years. I then began coaching as the Head coach for the junior high flag football team at CPA for the last 3 years. I also have been coaching as the head coach for the junior high Girl's basketball team at Dobson Academy for a year so far.

Coaching Style:

My philosphy is to never quit, leave it all on the field, accountability, respect for the individual, and to always show good sportsmanship.

CPA History:

My daughter joined CPA as a Freshman and is now a Senior.

Fun Facts:

I once had an Arizona Cardinal visit my home. I coached against Kyle Vanden Bosch, his twins, Larry Fitzgerald's son Devon, and his nephew. I worked at the CPA building flipping pizzas as a Smitty's employee in the 90's.
