We are incredibly proud to announce that Chandler Prep’s very own Kyra Tucker has been recognized by Sports Illustrated as one of the Top 10 Performing Hitters in Arizona High School Softball for the 2025 season. This prestigious honor highlights her exceptional performance across all divisions, from 1A to 6A. To be selected as one of the top hitters in the state is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to her hard work and dedication.

Kyra’s stats this season have been nothing short of phenomenal. She currently leads every statistical category in the region, making her a strong contender for 2A East Region Player of the Year. With her stellar performance, she’s also poised to secure a spot on the 2A All-State First Team—and possibly even earn the title of 2A Offensive Player of the Year.

This level of excellence is unprecedented in Chandler Prep softball history, and we couldn’t be more excited to see Kyra’s hard work and talent being recognized at such a high level. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate and support her as she continues to make history for our program.

We’re excited to kick off the upcoming athletic year with an opportunity to meet our new varsity girls' basketball coach and hear his plans for the program. Coach Johnson is eager to connect with our athletes and their families, so don’t miss these sessions:

Middle School: Monday, April 28th at 5:30 PM in the Gym (during practice).

High School: Friday, May 16th at 5:00 PM in Room 310.

The Annual HOOPIN’ IT UP AT THE ARENA event is back and that means Discounted SUNS Tickets for everyone and it’s all done online! If you have purchased anything online before, especially sports or concerts tickets, this is the same process with a little twist..

You MUST have the SUNS AP on your phone as that is where your tickets will be sent

Here is the Simple Process

1: Click on the link below. It will take you to the HOOPIN’ IT UP AT THE ARENA site. All Home SUNS games are listed.
 

2: Scroll down and find the game you are interested in and click on the game.
 

3: A list of all the tickets available and their price will show up on the screen next to a map of the Area (which can be enlarged) you will see that the tickets and map are color coded so you can see where your seats will be in the Arena.
 

4: Choose your ticket quantity, what price ticket you would like, and the Sections with the available tickets will pop up.
 

5: Pick the Section you want to sit in, and the available seats will pop up.
 

6: Now choose your seats!!!
 

7: There will be 6 short questions you will need to answer. #1 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT! This is where you will choose the team you are associated with, so they get the credit for your purchase

      Be sure you choose Chandler Prep Girls Basketball OR Chandler Prep Boys Basketball!
 

8: You will then see the Spinzo Blue Box where you will either make an account or continue as a guest. That will take you to where you pay for your tickets. After paying for your tickets, they are sent to your SUNS AP.
